Introduction
HiveKeeper is a cross-platform graphical user interface (GUI) for the Nano-Hive Nanospace Simulator. The purpose of HiveKeeper is to simplify the configuration and control of the simulator, and the configuration, control, and visual representation of simulations that are running, or have run, on the simulator. HiveKeeper is a GPL licensed open-source development - you can download and use it for free.

- HiveKeeper version 1.0.0 Alpha 4 has been released with the Nano-Hive 1.2.0 Beta 1 release. The new capabilities of this alpha version include:
- Support for multiple local and remote Nano-Hive (N-H) instances
- A simulation summary tab for each N-H instance
- A Physical Interaction Calculator (PIC), ie, N-H slave instances summary tab for each DC network
- A visualization recenter macro, vdW representation, and variable playback speed for the simulation visualization frame

- HiveKeeper version 1.0.0-alpha-3 for Windows and Unix derivatives is available for download. The main feature of this release is the inclusion of the Unix-derivative port of HiveKeeper.

- HiveKeeper version 1.0.0-alpha-1 has been release the Nano-Hive 1.1.0 release.
- The capabilities of the alpha version include
- Starting and stopping your pre-configured Nano-Hive instance
- Starting and stopping simulations
- Visualization of the molecular structures in your simulations
- You can control playback with pause, fast-forward/backward, and search controls
- You can rotate, pan, and zoom the animation even as it's playing
